Introductory Report - 2008 - 2015 .

July 23, 2008The organization named “ Mahamanav Baba AmteBahuuddeshiyaSamajikVikasSevaSanstha” was founded at village Chikhali, TalukaSrigonda, District  Ahmednagar.



October 5, 2008
On the occasion of birthday of Hon. VishwasraoNangarePatil, “Mahamanav Baba Amte Multipurpose Organisation” in association with “Mankanaiya Vasai NetraSewa Trust” organized free eye checkup camp in Chikhali village. Many dignitaries from the village including Brother John and village Sarpanch were present on this auspicious occasion along with hundreds of the villagers.  Around 200 people benefited from this camp. 











November 2, 2009
Shri.NeelkanthSadashivKulkarni donated his house property to “Snehalaya” and “Mahamanav Baba Amte Multipurpose Organisation” for the sake of societal development with a humble request to name this property as “Kulkarni Wada” and use it for the social cause.  This property is now used as a hostel for poor, needy students from the “Faasepardhi” tribal communty.  Few old photographs of Kulkarni Wada are given belw

    

 Minute repairs were done in Kulkarni Wada and the electricity connection was obtained on November 2, 2009.  A toilet was constructed in this Wada. Mr. NeelkanthKulkarni gave a donation of Rs. 15000/- for electricity connection.



In the presence of dignitaries like  Mr. RamakantTamboli, Mr. RajendraShivajiraoNagawade, Dr. GirishKulkarni and Mr. SuwalalShingvi the “ VidyarthiSahayyakSamitiUpkram (Students Aid Committee Programme)” of Mahamanav Baba AmteSanstha was presented to the public on May 1, 2010.  On this occasion, around 500 people were present. 



The volunteers of “ VidyarthiSahayyakSamiti” visited secondary schools and colleges in the area on July 15, 2010 and insisted them to be a part of the committee. Simultaneously the work of the committee started with initial 5 students


                                                                                              
Mahamanav Baba Amte Multipurpose Organisation has started the work with 4 students on the concept of “Earn while Learn”.



On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, the Ganesh Idol was installed on September 11, 2010 at Mahamanav Baba Amte Organisation.  On this occasion the importance of Lord Ganesha was explained to the people.  During  worship of Lord GaneshaShri. 



The work done by Mahamanav Baba Amte Organization was praised by Dr. Oskar Pluke from Switzerland in one of the function on December 29, 2010.  During this occasion Mr. Vaibhav Sakhare and Mr. AmolZende were present. Dr. Pluke has donated Rs. 5000/- to the organization.  A lecture by Dr. Pluke’s was organized at Tuljabhavi Women’s College. 





Shri.KaustubhVikasAmte, Assistant Secretary, MaharogiSewaSamiti, Anandwan visited Mahamanav Baba AmteOrganisation on October 8, 2010. Mr. KaustubhAmte has done unveiling of Mahamanav Baba Amte’s image.  This occasion was also graced by Prof. Bale, Prof. Gaikwad, Dr. GirishKulkarni, Ms. PrajaktaKulkarni and Ms. PallaviAmte.




Mahamanav Baba Amte’s death anniversary was celebrated on February 9, 2010.  Prof. PhulsinghMande was the Chief Guest of this programme.  The Chief Guest guided the children present for the function about the work done by Mahamanav Baba Amte. 


ShrimatiSudhataiUttamLodhaalongwith women and workers of SatyasadhanaMahilaMandal, Pune visited Mahamanav Baba AmteOrganisation, Shrigonda on November 25, 2010.  On this occasion  Mrs. VimaltaiSancheti, Mrs. SaralabaiRunwal and Mrs. ShailjaMahale has released the poem titled, ‘Mahamanav Baba AmteYanchyaShrunkhalaPaiAsu De’.  This occasion was also graced by Mr. JayantJawdekar, Chief Executive Officer, Municipality, Shrigonda.



On February 16, 2011 Prof. MadhukarUplenchwar with his wife, Mr. DilipAgarwal, Dr. Bankar and Mr. RamakantTamboli visited the work done by MBAO.  Following are the few images.

MBAO has organized Mahamanav Baba Amte three days awakening lecture series on December 26, 2011.  Dr. Girish Kulkarni inaugurated this awakening series by giving lecture on ‘Women in Redlight Area and their Rehabilitation’.  The programme was attended by Mr. Sudhakar Khardekar (Kaka), Prof. Mande and around 500 participants. 




The second lecture of this series was given by Advocate ShyamAsawa on December 27, 2011.  He guided the participants on topics like Janlokpal and Bharat Nirman.  This lecture was chaired by Prof. Kadam. The MBAO felicitated the volunteers of Loknayak Anna Hazare’sAndolan by the hands of Mr. ShyamAsawa during this lecture series.

In the third lecture of the series Mr. Anil Gawde guided the youth on the topic of ‘TarunanoJageVha’ (Youth be awake) on December 28, 2011.  This was coordinated by Shri. UddhavGaikwad.

MBAO organized a lecture for youth by Mr. Krishna Prakash, Superintendant of Police on the topic of ‘Role of Society and Police in the Present Scenario of Criminal Offences’ on January 5, 2012.  This lecture was organized in RatnakamalMangalKaryalaya. Around 3000 people took the benefit of this lecture.  Mr. Krishna Prakash visited the activities of MBAO and joined the participants for lunch.




Mr. NeelkanthSadashivKulkarni with his wife and son Shri.GirishKulkarni handed over the possession of their house to MBAO for social cause on January 6, 2012. On this occasion Adv. Lune, Mr. SuwalalShingvi, Dr. GirishKulkarni, Mr.VijayPatil etc. were present.


On January 20, 2012 for the occasion of ‘Youth Day’ Dr. VishwambharChoudhari, Mr. Suresh Pathare, Mr. Dada Pathare and Mr. Amol  Zende gave a quick visit the organization.
