Mahamanav Baba Amte Bahu-Uddashaya Samajik Vikas Sanstha, Shrigonda is an organization established by Anant Zende. Anant was Belongs to poor farmer's family. He derived his inspiration from great national social worker Baba Amte, Dr. Vikas Amte (Anandwan), Dr.S.N.Subbarao (NYP), Dr. Girish Kulkarni (Snehalaya), Loknayak Anna Hazare, Mr. Popatrao Pawar, Mr.Ramakant Tamboli, Shalinitai Makhija, Pune, I.P.S Vishvasrao Nangrepatil DIG Bombay
With the Inspiration of Mr. Anant has started work with his native place at chikhali, Tal. Shrigonda, Dist: - Ahmednagar. He is always taking initiative and finding donors and solved some issue of this village, he has solved the water issue, then he provided infrastructure to primary school of this village. He is always keeping touch with Snehalaya than he has realized so many problems of society and he registered this organization and started Vidhyarthi Sahhayak Samiti At Shrigonda Tehsil in Ahmednagar District. Shrigonda is a rural place in Ahmednagar. There Is available colleges up to PG Laval.
Anant working as an ordinary peon in a rural school worked hard to establish his dream project. His monthly income is just Rs.5, 500. Provided with minimum resources at his disposal he has utilized his strength of will to redevelop an old Wada that will serve home for poor children in need of place to stay. He has spent his own Rs.1 lack to achieve this purpose. The wada will serve as home and place to gain valuable knowledge necessary for complete physical and mental development of the students.
There are Children's coming from outside villages. Mostly these children's have living with illiterate family background; also there is limited scope of quality education and lack of opportunity. VSS also helping to them and build the dreams of these children. VSS also providing to the guidance & valuable knowledge with accommodation for Over all development of the students & become good person. Students are admitted to this organization irrespective of their caste, religion, social status. We hope to provide valuable facilities and guidance to students preparing for competitive exams. Good quality learning infrastructure like computers, library etc. will be made available.
There is available capacity of 50 student's accommodation. Recently 25 students are admitted in VSS. And our future plan is to start to provide a accommodation facility for girls.

Inauguration of the VSS.
Ahmednagar (2nd May 2010)
We will never have the tall and inspiring personalities like Swami Vivekananda, Lokmanya Tilak or Mahatma Gandhi again and we have to follow their thoughts and deeds faithfully to save the future of our Nation, said Mr. Ramakant Tamboli, a veteran social worker at Shrigonda town, 60 km from Ahmednagar. Mr. Tamboli has formally inaugurated Vidyarthi Sahayak Samiti (VSS) yesterday. About 300 citizens were presents at the occasion including principals 4 colleges, members of Municipality and NGO representatives.
Mr. Tamboli further added that Indians should not expect more from Government, political parties or Judiciary. Only the movement of civil society can change the fate of the our society and Nation. The NGOs like Snehalaya, while doing its basic work are rebuilding the movement of civil society which is an example for other NGOs, Mr. Tamboli added.
Mr. Tamboli (79 years) has worked for 28 years with late Achyutrao Apte to establish Vidyarthi Sahayak Samiti at Pune. Mr. Tamboli shared his valuable experiences of fund raising and character building of students in a meeting with local volunteers, inmates and donors. He has also assured to volunteer six days, every month for the work in VSS. The Snehalaya family expressed gratitude towards Mumbai based Girish Kulkarni and his family for their contribution. Mr. Milind Kulkarni, Secretary of Snehalaya informed the audience about various activities of Snehalaya in his welcome speech. Mr. Anant Achyutrao Zende, Hon. Director of VSS offered a vote of thanks. We request you to visit this new project of Snehalaya. Shrigonda is 60 kms from Ahmednagar and 30 km away from Daund Railway Station.
